1.0 Admissions

Once a place has been offered to your child you will be required to pay a £50 registration fee (payable at the time) and register an online childcare account with us.

The parent/guardian that registers must

(a) have parental responsibility; (b) is responsible to keep all information on themselves, their child and any third party carer up-to-date; and (c) required to inform (prior to next attendance) management of any future changes to necessary information. By registering you are agreeing to receiving our communication via emails, text message, telephone and post.

To secure childcare beyond one month you will be added to our waiting list without a guaranteed start date. Your desired start date will be noted however we are not required to meet it and places will be offered on availability.

1.1 Funded

When you child is eligible for a funded place you will be required to sign related terms and conditions which also set out our wrap around fees relating to services used outside that of free entitled hours.

1.2 Confirmed and Ad-hoc

Day swaps are not available however extra sessions outside that of core bookings are available and can be obtained on an ad-hoc basis. These are booked directly with the Manager in advance of requested dates. Sessions are subject to availability.

1.3 Fees

All fees are charged monthly in advance of childcare and must be paid within the stated time frame by either;

  • Cash

  • BACS

  • Childcare Voucher

  • Tax Free Childcare  

Our fees are reviewed annually. Prior to an increase we will give 6 weeks notice.

1.4 Absences

Fees are payable during all periods of your child’s absence where childcare has been agreed. This is not an exclusive list however examples of absences include; sickness (any), inset days, family holidays and public and bank holidays.

1.5 Late collection

If you are expected to arrive later than the agreed collection time we ask that you make us aware by calling the setting ahead so that we can make necessary childcare/ staff arrangements. We expect lateness to be self corrected. If it becomes a regular occurrence we will review your contract with us.

1.6 Cancelling childcare

We require 6 weeks’ notice by email to cancel or reduce agreed childcare sessions. If you are taking up a funded only place under the EYFE (Early Years Free Entitlement) you are not required to give any notice.

1.7 Urgent setting closure

Certain factors may force an urgent closure of our setting. In such cases parents/ guardians will still be liable for fees incurred during the period of closure

This can include

  • Severe weather

  • Power cut

  • Water failure

  • Heating failure (Winter)

  • Staff sickness

  • Community threat

  • Act of terrorism
